I am 45 years old, Swedish/Danish, but I live in Denmark. As a child, I was always crazy about My Little Pony and had a huge collection of them. Unfortunately, I gave my collection away to a friend.

When my boys were small, I started crocheting and knitting because they always wanted different kinds of characters, such as Kirby, Metamind, Yoshi, Pokémon, and Minecraft. I have never used a pattern when crocheting characters—only the pictures my boys showed me of the character they wanted.

A year ago, my oldest boy wanted me to go to Germany with him for a My Little Pony con. That opened up a whole new world: learning to sew pony plushies so I could build a brand new collection for myself. Now, I love making pony plushies! 🤣

The first real pony plushie was Zecora.
